Eligible non-European visitors will need an ETA to travel to the UK as from 8 January 2025

Headline terms and conditions are as follows:
- Application cost is £10 and is non-refundable.
- Everyone travelling needs to get an ETA, including babies and children. The application can be made by another person on behalf of the passenger.
Required:
- Passport with which the passenger is travelling; photocopy or digital passport not accepted.
- Access to email.
- A credit card, debit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
- Upload or take photos of the passport and face of the person applying.
- Travel details not required.
How to apply

- Response time is 3 working days, at times it might take longer than 3 working days.
- The ETA lasts for 2 years. Multiple entries are allowed in the UK during that period.
- If passport is expired and a new passport issued, a new ETA is required.
- The applicant will receive an email confirming the ETA, it will be linked to the passport submitted at application time.
- The passenger will still need to go through passport controls /immigration formalities to enter the UK.
