Arr: Srinagar 1145 hrs.
Late afternoon. Enjoy the shikara ride at dal lake. The dal lake is the most celebrated and important lake amongst all in srinagar. It is home to carve wooden houseboats, vibrant shikaras and floating gardens. The backdrop to this eight-kilometer-long lake is the pir panjal mountain range, adding to the magnificence of this picture postcard vista.
After breakfast full day excursion to gulmarg. (02 hours – one way) a cup-shaped meadow, gulmarg, also known as the ‘meadow of flowers’ boasts of the world’s highest golf course, a triangular frozen lake, and a famous gondola ride. In addition, the gulmarg ski resort at over 8,600 feet offers smooth slopes to both amateurs and skiing professionals (snow subject to weather). Cable car @ usd 30 pp extra included.
Return to houseboat for dinner and overnight.
Am: mughal gardens: visit, cheshmashahi “royal spring”- the smallest of all mughal gardens famous for its icy cold-water gushing fourth- through the spring. “nishat bagh” – garden of pleasure -the famous garden laid against the back grounding of steep barren mountain set in ten different terraces each of which rises higher than other, shalimar bagh “abode of love”- the most famous garden arranged in four terraces on slopes of mountain commanding a five view of the lake.
Afternoon free for shopping around boulvard. Dinner with overnight at the houseboat.
Transfer to airport to connect flight to delhi

Pm: new delhi: the capital of the country has long been a phoenix rising again and again out of its ruins. Delhi is really seven cities in one, the first dating from the 11th century. See the famous qutab minar – 12th century 238 ft. High stone tower, indeed a masterpiece of construction, new delhi was the creation of the british raj of the 30’s and includes the president’s house, parliament, india gate, the rajpath and downtown connaught place.
Transfer to railway station to board train to Ayodhya

Meet upon arrival and transfer to horel.
Ayodhya – a popular pilgrim centre. This town is closely associated with lord rama, upon arrival visit hanuman garhi- a 10th century temple of lord hanuman. Dashrath mahal- the original residence of king dashrath- the ruler of ayodhya and father to lord sri ram. Ram janmabhumi- the birthplace of lord ram, kanak bhavan- it is believed that this bhawan was gifted to devi sita by kaikei immediately after her marriage to lord ram. In the evening we stroll around ram ki paidi for amazing photography, treta ke thakur- where lord ram conducted ashwadmedha yagya.
Visit saryu river, hanuman garhi, ram janam bhumi, kanak bhawan, ramkot, swarg dwar, mani parbat, sugriv parbat, treta ke thakur, nageswarnath temple.
After breakfast drive to lucknow (136 kms / 03 hrs). On arrival check in at hotel.
Pm: we explore this land of nawabs. We visit rumi darwaja- an example of awadhi architecture, clock tower- india’s largest clock tower, chota imambara- one of the most beautiful and attractive buildings in the old city, bada imambara- known for its incredible maze, known as bhul bhulaiya locally, british residency- a significant part of the seige of lucknow (1857), the ruins of which can still be seen at the site.
Over night at hotel
After breakfast drive to Agra (335 kms / 06 hrs). On arrival check in at hotel.
Am: visit Taj Mahal at sunset – unquestionably the world’s most magnificent monument ever built in 17 th century. A colossal, perfectly proportioned mass of white marble, it is literally a jewel, fashioned over 20 years of hundreds of skilled craftsmen and over 20,000 laborers to float like some fantastic mirage upon the yamuna
Red fort: the Agra fort was once the flourishing centre of the mughal dynasty, and four successive emperors helped to create its massive walls, within which hindu and muslim styles merge into a splendid fusion of military might and lavish beauty.
Drive to Jaipur (221 kms / 05 hrs). On arrival check-in at hoytel.
Am: Amber (palace) Fort: the original palace of the local rulers was built in the 17th century high up on a hill overlooking a lake, just below the vast and somber walls of the ancient fort of amber. The towers and domes of the amber palace are reminiscent of scenes from some fairy-tale. Its halls of victory is richly decorated with panels of alabaster with fine inlay work of tendercolours. You ascend up the palace on board gaily caparisoned elephants, as did the maharaja’s of yore. (elephant ride on direct payment)
Pm: Jaipur city: this 18th century city (capital of Rajasthan) is famed as “the pink city”, because of the local rose-pink-sandstone used in its construction. The fortifications give it a medieval atmosphere, but its well-planned layout is “modern”, built in 1728. Visit maharaja’s city- palace, situated in the heart of the city with charming gardens surrounded by high walls; palace of winds (hawa mahal), a uniquely designed five -story structure with tiers of overhanging balconies of pink sandstone; maharaja jai singh after whom the city was named, being a keen astronomer built an astronomical observatory which is still in use
After breakfast drive to delhi (265 kms / 07 hrs). Straight proceed to railway station to connect train for Haridwar.

Meet on arrival and transfer to hotel and overnight.
Am: Rishikesh: the abode of saints & sages – Rishikesh (alt. 340 mtr) situated on the right bank of river ganges and surrounded by the lower himalayan ranges is holy pilgrimage centre for the hindus. It is gateway to the kingdom of gods-Badrinath, Kedarnath, and Gangotri & Yamunotri. It is centre of ashrams & inns, which are charitable and benevolent religious institutions.
Pm: Haridwar – gateway to the gods Haridwar (alt.290mtr) situated on the right bank of river ganges, at the southern base of the himalayan shivalik range. It is town of great antiquity. The name of the haridwar means the “door of hari or vishnu”. The cleansing of the sins is supposed to the result from bathing in the ganges here. The great assemblage of pilgrims.
In the evening witness pooja at har-ki-pauri – fan the embers of your faith. By joining in the famous “ganga arti” in har-ki-pauri at hardwar held every evening. Watch the flames leap up high from the plate on which camphor burns brightly. And marvel at thousands of people whose faith holds strong through tests of fire.
After breakfast transfer to haridwar railway station to board train to Delhi
