Mauritius by MK at 1800 hrs.
Arrival Delhi by MK at 0615 Hrs. Met upon arrival and transferred to hotel. We have included breakfast and an early check-in.  PM: New Delhi sightseeing visiting Qutub Minar, President House, India gate and Connaught place. You may also like to visit high-end Khan Market, known for nice cafes and some good quality shopping.
Delhi/Jaipur. After breakfast drive to Jaipur -5 hrs., Arrival check in hotel. Late afternoon orientation tour of pink city Jaipur and later visit Birla temple at sunset and see the arti at temple known for its beautiful fine marble cut outs and statues.
Jaipur.AM: Amber (palace) fort: the original palace of the local rulers was built in the 17 th century high up on a hill Overlooking a lake, the towers and domes of the Amber palace are reminiscent of scenes from some fairy-tale. Their hall of victory is richly decorated with panels of alabaster with fine inlay work of tender colors. Optional Elephant ride one way @ Usd 25 PP extra .PM: Jaipur city: this 18 th century city (capital of Rajasthan) is famous as “the pink city”, because of the local rose-pink-sandstone used in its construction. The fortifications give it a medieval atmosphere, but its well-planned layout is “modern”. Visit Maharaja’s City-Palace, situated in the heart of the city with charming gardens surrounded by high walls; palace of winds, a uniquely designed five –story structure with tiers of overhanging balconies of pink sandstone; Maharaja Jai Singh after whom the city was named, being a keen astronomer built an astronomical observatory which is still in use.
Jaipur/Bikaner. After early breakfast drive to Bikaner (350 Kms / 6hrs 30 mins). On arrival check in at hotel. Bikaner city: founded at the close of the 15th century, by Rao Bikaji and was the former capital of the state of that name, the city has a 16th century huge fort containing ancient palaces and temples, the Ganga Golden Jubilee Museum, contains statues of Gupta period and Rajput miniatures is worth the visit. Bikaner is the home of the famous camel corps, still most useful in desert warfare.
Bikaner/Jaisalmer. After breakfast drive Bikaner/Jaisalmer (333 kms/7 hrs) visiting famous Keechan, a small hamlet known for Demoiselle migratory cranes flying 5000 KM from Siberia soaring over Himalayas. Today you drive through the heart of The Thar desert. Arrival check in hotel.
Jaisalmer. AM: Jaisalmer city: visiting, fort – built by Meharawal Jaiswal in 1156 AD – one of the 2nd oldest in Rajasthan situated on triangular mound 76 meters above ground level, Jai temples of 12th century BC Gadisar tank, folk museum, Patva ki haveli, Salim Singh haveli and Diwan Nathmal ki haveli, Badal Niwas palace. Village Sam – 50 kms from Jaisalmer has cluster of sand dunes. These moving sand dunes are large extents of shifting sands, the wind heaps the sand in to hills or deep hollow scoops vary in size from 3 to 15 km. Can enjoy Camel ride to enjoy the sun set with changing colors in desert @ Usd 10 PP extra
Jaisalmer/Jodhpur. Drive Jaisalmer/Jodhpur (265 kms/5 hrs.) visiting Pokhran fort enroute. On arrival check-in at the hotel. Pokhran located in the reaches of Thar Desert and is famous for being a remote village which has its roots dug into ancient culture. The town houses various beautiful forts exhibiting the marvels of ancient Rajasthani architecture.
Jodhpur. Visit Mehrangarh Fort: still run by the maharaja of Jodhpur, Mehrangarh, the majestic fort, is just that sprawled across a 125 m-high hill; this is the most formidable fort in fort. After visiting the beautiful fort, they shall walk down with a guide from the fort to clock tower via the old the blue city. It shall take nearly 4 hrs plus for this interesting visit. Afternoon free to explore local market around Clock Tower.
Jodhpur/Udaipur. After breakfast drive to Udaipur (300 kms/ 6 hrs) visiting Ranakpur enroute. Ranakpur temple – will open at 12 Noon: 90 kms from Udaipur in a quiet isolated glen, is a remarkable complex of Jain temples of Ranakpur (1440 ad). Built during the reign of the liberal and gifted monarch Rana Kumbha, these temples, though belonging to a late period (15th century), when the peak of the classic age was already past, are a unique example of Jain religious architecture. Temple consists of 29 halls and 426 pillars full of sculptural decoration. No two pillars are alike here. Continue the drive to Udaipur. On arrival check in at the hotel. Evening – Optional Boat ride Pichhola Lake @ Usd 20 PP, seat in boat sharing basis Enjoy the picturesque lake that entranced Maharaja Udai Singh. It was later enlarged by the founder. The lake is surrounded by Hills, Palaces, temples bathing Ghats and embankments. Two island palaces, Jag Mandir and Jag Niwas {Lake Palace} on the lake are of breath-taking magnificence.
Udaipur. AM: Udaipur city: visiting, city palace – situated on elevation on the eastern bank of Lake Pichola; Jagdish temple- close to the city palace is this 17th century temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu; Lake Fateh Sagar; Nehru Island Park; jet fountain; Maharana Pratap memorial overlooking lake Fateh Sagar is Moti Magri hill. The hill now is dedicated to the memory of Maharana Pratap.Eklingji Temple: 22kms. From Udaipur, Temple built in 734 A.D Cut out of sandstone and marble. This is a complex of 108 Temples enclosed by High Walls. The Temple is devoted to this particular deity, which was worshipped by The Maharanas of Mewar.Nagda: Very close to Eklingji is Nagda, named after its founder Nagaditya and is one of the most ancient places in Mewar. There are Hindu and Jain Temples, notable among which is the Sas-Bahu Temple dedicated to Vishnu.
Udaipur/Delhi. After breakfast transfer to the hotel for flight to Delhi. DEP        Udaipur                0955 hrs ARR        Delhi                      1115 hrs Met upon arrival and transfer to the hotel. Afternoon free for shopping etc.
