  • Note:
    • Hotel Check-in and check-out as per hotel policy.
    • Medium vehicle will be provided for 1-3 travellers and Innova will be provided for 4 travellers.
    • Chennai – Govt. Museum & St. George Church will remain closed on every Friday.
    • Madurai – Gandhi Museum will remain closed on every Monday.
    • Trivandrum – Padmanabhaswamy Temple – Non-Indians are not allowed. Dress code to enter at the temple is Dhoti for Men & Saree for Women.
    • Kochi – Jewish Synagogue is closed on Fridays & Saturdays, and Dutch Palace is closed on Fridays.
    • Houseboat Check in time will be 1200 hrs and check out time will be 0900 hrs.
    • The houseboat would be anchored from 1700 hrs till the next morning.
    • Air conditioner on the houseboat will remain “ON” from 2100 hrs to 0700 hrs for deluxe and standard houseboats.
    • Air conditioner on the houseboat will remain “ON” from check-in to check-out for luxury houseboats.
    • Package cost will not be valid from 20th December 2024 – 10th January 2025.
    • State reserves the right to close any tourist place if found necessary without prior notice.
    • Peak Period surcharge will be applicable for booking on public holidays, festivals, exhibitions, and long weekends. The surcharge amount will be advised at the time of booking.

Day 01: Arrive at Chennai

Arrive at Chennai Airport. Tamarind Global representative will meet you at the exit of the terminal building. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. Overnight in Chennai.

Day 02: Chennai Sightseeing

Explore Chennai- Visit Fort St George, St. Mary’s Church and a museum, Kapeeleshwara Temple, San Thome Cathedral, Government State Museum & National Art Gallery. Drive past Marina Beach, the second longest beach in the world. Overnight in Chennai.

Day 03: Chennai – Mahabalipuram

Drive to Mahabalipuram (60 kms / approx. 2hrs). Mahabalipuram – covering Panch Rathas, Arjuna’s Penance and the Shore Temple. On arrival, check-in to your hotel. Overnight at Mahabalipuram.

Day 04: Mahabalipuram – Pondicherry

After breakfast, drive to Pondicherry (100 kms / approx. 2 hours). On arrival, enjoy sightseeing of Pondicherry, starting with Aurobindo ashram. Also, cover church of sacred hearts of Jesus, Pondicherry Museum, beaches and a must-visit attraction of Pondicherry – Auroville. Overnight stay in Pondicherry.

Day 05: Pondicherry – Tanjore

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive towards Tanjore (185kms / approx. 4.5hrs). Arrive and check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay in Tanjore.

Day 06: Tanjore – Trichy – Madurai

After early breakfast, check-out from the hotel and explore Tanjore – Visit Brihadeshwara Temple, Tanjore Palace & Museum. Later drive towards Trichy and enroute visit Rock Fort, Srirangam and Thiruvanaikkaval. By evening, reach Madurai (190 kms / approx. 3-5 hours). Transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Madurai.

Day 07: Madurai Sightseeing

Visit the Meenakshi Temple, Gandhi Memorial Museum, Tirumalai Nayak and Koodal Azhagar Temple. In the evening, re-visit the Meenakshi Temple to witness the evening prayer ceremony at the temple. Overnight in Madurai.

Day 08: Madurai – Kanyakumari

After breakfast, proceed to Kanyakumari (245 kms / approx. 4 hours). Upon arrival in Kanyakumari, check-in at the hotel and proceed on a visit to Vivekananda Rock, Gandhi Museum and Kumari Amman Temple. Also, enjoy the scenic sunset point in Kanyakumari. Overnight in Kanyakumari.

Day 09: Kanyakumari – Kovalam

After breakfast, drive towards Kovalam (80 kms / approx. 2 hours). Upon arrival, check-in at hotel and spend rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Kovalam

Day 10: Kovalam (Trivandrum Sightseeing)

After breakfast, proceed for half-day sightseeing trip of Trivandrum. Visit the Napier Museum, the Shree Chitra Kala Art Gallery and the Kuthiramalika Palace. Overnight in Kovalam.

Day 11: Kovalam – Alleppey

After breakfast, drive to Alleppey (175kms / 4.5hrs). Check-in at the houseboat and spend the day at leisure. Overnight in Alleppey.

Day 12: Alleppey – Kumarakom

Disembark the houseboat and drive to Kumarakom (35kms / 1hr). Arrive and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Kumarakom.

Day 13: Kumarakom Sightseeing

Today, enjoy your visit to Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary (On direct payment basis). Also, you may want to indulge yourself with some Ayurveda treatments in your hotel (On direct-payment basis). Overnight stay in Kumarakom.

Day 14: Kumarakom – Kochi

Drive to Kochi (50kms / 1.5hrs) and transfer the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Kochi

Day 15: Kochi Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed for a half-day city tour of Kochi. Visit Fort Kochi and Mattancherry island, which consists of Jewish Synagogue, Mattancherry Palace also known as Dutch Palace, Famous Chinese Fishing nets, St. Francis church and many more historic sites. Evening at leisure. Overnight at Kochi.

Day 16: Departure

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Kochi airport for return flight back home. End of Services.
