REVISED PROTOCOL FOR TRAVEL FROM MAURITIUS TO INDIA (AIR MAURITIUS):

We wish to inform you that Mauritius has been removed from the list of High Risk countries for entry in India.
Consequently the following measures, amongst others, will apply henceforth for travel from MRU to BOM (Please refer to attached circulars for the complete Protocol)
1. All passengers arriving in BOM will have to undergo a mandatory RTPCR test and wait at the airport until the result is obtained.
2. Passengers can choose between a Conventional RTPCR (cost INR 600) or a Rapid RTPCR (cost INR 4500)
3. The Conventional RTPCR result is available in 6-8hrs while the Rapid RTPCR result is available in one hour.
4. Passengers will need to follow home quarantine for 7 days, re-test on the 8th day and if negative, self-monitor of their health for next 7days.
5. Passengers having onwards connecting flights can proceed once they obtain their negative RTPCR result at BOM airport.
Air Mauritius will continue to monitor changes in travel conditions and keep you updated.
